April 12, 2001: In response to pleas
made to Congress, President George W. Bush and Attorney General John
Ashcroft, the following letter opening an investigation is received by
Caryl Leventhal's husband Lieutenant Colonel Michael G. Leventhal.
After five years of battle involving inaction, lies, death threats and
intimidation, Mr. Leventhal is not surprised by this type of
correspondence.
While our terminally ill USDOJ INS whistleblower to the 1995-2000 INS terrorist friendly corruption cover-ups still maintains some hope, LTC Leventhal views the correspondence with skepticism. To him, it is a prerequisite for INS scampering to mask unfair treatment behind a bogus review, cloaked lies, legalisms and continued cover-up. Both Caryl and Michael Leventhal feel that time is running out for America as the US Department of Justice considers "agency loyalty" more important than a looming terrorist threat to our shores. |
